Quick dry waterborne steel anti corrosion paint

Quick-dry water-based all-in-one steel corrosion coating (rust-tolerant) for structural steel components (C/H/I/channel sections). Provides protection, corrosion resistance, and decorative finishes. Replaces traditional solvent-based paints.

-Product composition: The water-based paint for steel structures is composed of water-based resins, water-based additives, pigments, fillers, water, etc.

- Characteristics

- Construction Method
Manual spraying

Diluent: Deionized water or tap water

Dilution rate: (10 - 20)%, please refer to the product label for details.

Spraying viscosity: (20 - 60) s (T-4 cup)

Spray gun distance: (20 - 30) cm

Spray gun nozzle diameter: Air spraying (1.0 - 2.0) mm

Spraying pressure: Air pressure (0.5 - 0.6) MPa, paint feeding pressure (1.0 - 2.5) MPa

Self-drying at room temperature (25℃): Touch dry in 1 hour; Hard dry in 24 hours; Completely dry in 168 hours.

Forced drying: After flash drying at room temperature for 10-15 minutes, bake at (60 - 70)℃ for (20 - 30) minutes.

Re-coating interval: More than 2 hours.

- Construction Notes

■Control the coating's application viscosity to prevent sagging and brush - marks. Apply directly or add a little water for brushing and rolling. For spraying, add 10% - 20% water; adding over 20% is not recommended.

■Before construction, thoroughly clean the surface of the object to be coated by removing moisture, grease, rust, dust, and other adhering contaminants. For steel surfaces, perform shot blasting or mechanical grinding to achieve Sa2.5 or St3 cleanliness levels.

■After opening the paint can, the paint should be thoroughly stirred to ensure uniformity. The residual paint at the bottom of the can can be washed clean with water and added to the paint mixing tank together, so as to prevent color differences caused by the settling of pigments at the bottom.

■Coating Preparation: Mix and thin, filter through 80-150 mesh copper screen before use. Seal container immediately after use to prevent skin formation. If dried skin occurs, filter through 100 mesh screen.

■Painting Tools: Use dedicated tools; do not mix with other paint tools. Clean with water after use for reuse.

■Recommended paint system: Water-based anti-rust primer (1 coat), topcoat (1 coat); recoat interval >2 hours.

■Optimal application conditions:

Temp ≥10℃

Humidity ≤80%

Dust-free

Cautions:Below 10℃ or >85% humidity: drying time increases

Protect from rain/water for 24 hours post-application
