Car paint scratches note
Release Time:2023-01-30
1. Paint oxidation

Under the illumination of the sun's ultraviolet rays, the paint film constantly evaporates the oil into the air to protect itself. Over time, the oil of the paint surface will be over-dispersed. The brightness and depth of the paint surface are greatly reduced, so that the paint surface is slowly whitened, forming an oxide layer and shortening the life of the car paint. The naked eye can observe the phenomenon of dark, whitish and dull paint. Oxidation can be severely treated by grinding and polishing.

2. Traffic film
The car produces a strong electrostatic layer due to friction during driving. Static electricity has a strong ability to absorb dust, oil and chemical dust, and forms a hard traffic film over time. It is very easy to oxidize and corrode the paint surface, and can be treated with abrasive polishing.
3. Crack
If you do not usually do some necessary care for the paint surface, the metallic paint may produce a very fine crack, it will continue to penetrate the car paint, until it "breaks" the entire color paint layer, this phenomenon is called "cracking". Sometimes cracks can occur due to the quality of the repaint paint. If there is car wax in the crack, you will find that the body has a crack phenomenon of stripes (trailings). Regular waxing can cause fewer cracks.
4. Fading
Poor paint quality is the main cause of fading, while the texture of the varnish layer caused by light pollutants can also cause fading. Fading is different from oxidation, and when fading occurs, uneven color differences appear in the paint. Medium and mild fading can be treated by grinding and polishing, and must be repainted in severe cases.
5. Etching
Etching is a dough-like abrasion. Insects, bird droppings, sap, tar, and asphalt can all cause erosion marks. Etching can generally only be treated by spray paint, and only very slight ones can be solved by grinding and polishing.
6. Shallow scratches
Due to improper friction and daily care during use, over time, the paint surface of the car appeared slightly scratched, and the primer was not exposed, which was greatly noticeable in the sun. Generally can be removed by professional polishing methods.
7. Water marks
The water marks are ring-shaped. It is the trace left by the evaporation of water droplets, and the oxidized car and the car that is commonly used to wash the spirit are more likely to be infected with water mark disease. When water marks are mild, waxing and polishing can be cured; In severe cases, grinding or painting is required.
